Feed The Children Philippines (FTCP) has chosen to gradually work WITH and not just FOR needy Filipino children. Recognizing the rights of children, FTCP taps and builds on children’s competencies or strengths while addressing their needs. In so doing, it has expanded "feeding" beyond just meals for children.

While remaining child-centered, it adopts an integrated approach that encompasses the role of the family and the community for sustainability including environmental concerns to ensure impact on the lives of the children. Ultimately, it hopes to contribute to the attainment of the Philippines’ commitment to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
